The FAA said Thursday’s ground delay snarled departures to DFW by an average of 21 minutes. The delay is currently in effect until 9:59 p.m., the FAA said.

The Federal Aviation Administration on Monday issued a ground stop at Dallas Love Field Airport due to staffing issues. The ground stop prevents all flights bound for North Texas from taking off from their departure airports until the advisory expires.
The ground delay and stop mean many flights bound for Austin will be temporarily held at their origin airports.
