More rain could be on the horizon for the hard-hit area, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service.

Heavy rainfall has overwhelmed multiple low water crossings and areas along the Guadalupe River, local authorities reported.

More than 8 inches of rain fell in Kerr County, resulting in major flooding along the Guadalupe River. While the river is starting to recede upstream, flooding is expected Friday night along the Guadalupe River downstream from Comfort to Spring Branch.
