4 big rigs involved in deadly crash in Ontario
Multiple people were killed Tuesday following a crash involving four big rigs in Ontario. The crash was reported on the westbound 10 Freeway near the 15 Freeway at about 1:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities released the name of the 21-year-old driver who allegedly crashed his semi-truck into traffic in a collision which killed three people.
The crash has reignited criticism over lax enforcement of commercial licensing standards. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said California could lose $40 million in federal highway safety funds for failing to uphold federal English-language requirements for truck drivers.
