Greetings from the press box at Lincoln Financial Field, where the Philadelphia Eagles faced the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s NFC Wild Card game. The 49ers came into Philadelphia and unseated the defending Super Bowl champions behind Christian McCaffrey for a 23-19 victory.

In the NFC Wild Card round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles will meet the San Francisco 49ers.

Goedert became just the second Eagles player to ever have a rushing touchdown and receiving touchdown in the same playoff game, joining Ricky Watters, who did it in 1995.

After wide receiver A.J. Brown had a handful of drops in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni came to his defense.

Brown and Sirianni bickered in a sideline spat that quickly forced chief security officer Dom DiSandro to intervene.

Sirianni and Brown had a bit of a sideline dustup late in the second quarter after the receiver and left tackle Jordan Mailata were slow to get off the field following a third-down incompletion.
