KAANAPALI, Maui (KHON2) — At around 11:40 a.m., a brush fire in Ka’anapali was reported, and by 1:20 p.m., the Maui Emergency Management Agency issued an evacuation order throughout Ka’anapali.
A brush fire broke out near the old Sugar Cane Train warehouse in Kaanapali, Maui, on Monday, August 4, prompting the closure of Honoapiʻilani Highway and evacuation orders for some areas.
