New Jersey governor election results: Democrat Mikie Sherrill is projected winner in governor's race
Democrat Mikie Sherrill is projected to win the New Jersey gubernatorial election against Republican Jack Ciattarelli. As of 9:30 p.m. with 63% of the expected vote reporting, Sherrill holds more than a 14-point lead -- 57.0% to 42.4%.

Preliminary results of New Jersey’s 2025 legislative elections started coming in Tuesday night, after the vast majority of in-person polls closed at 8 p.m. But as of early Wednesday morning, several of the most competitive races were still too close to call.
