Comprised of the 60 highest-paying professional rodeos in the United States, the Playoffs Series has become a huge factor in rodeo, shaping late-season standings and determining which athletes earn a second chance to punch their ticket to Las Vegas.

For all the ways rodeo clowning and bullfighting have evolved, one thing that remains consistent is the risk. Injuries are par for the course in this line of work, which is why some bullfighters transition to become funnymen later in life.

Artists across all genres have graced the rodeo stage since entertainers joined alongside the competitions in 1942, starting with "The Singing Cowboy" Gene Autry. Over the years, music legends including Dolly Parton, Selena, ZZ Top, Beyoncé, Elvis Presley, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Willie Nelson and more have performed.
