As The Witcher moves into its fourth season, it prepares to introduce Liam Hemsworth as its new Geralt of Rivia following Henry Cavill’s exit. Showrunner Lauren Schmidt-Hissrich recently discussed how Hemsworth’s interpretation will differ from Cavill’s version.
"I remember the launch, and the uphill battle for the first Witcher game to get noticed at all. Can't believe it was that long ago. So much happened in the meantime, both for The Witcher IP and for CDPR in general," Michał Nowakowski, co-CEO of CDPR, posted on Twitter to mark the occasion.
Netflix’s The Witcher is heading toward its final quest with Seasons 4 and 5. This will be the end of Geralt’s journey — and with Liam Hemsworth taking over the role from Henry Cavill, it’s bound to feel like a new era for the Continent. Season 4 will be released on October 30, 2025.
