The Purdue basketball season tips off Tuesday night against Evansville. The hype video released by the creative team has everyone fired up for a new year.

With Trey Kaufman-Renn, a first-team All-Big Ten selection last season, sidelined, No. 1-ranked Purdue knocked off some initial rust and had no trouble defeating Evansville 82-51 on Tuesday, Nov. 4 in Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers were in a bit of a rut, leading 20-17 after a 3 by Evansville's Trent Hundley.

Purdue of course has sky high expectations as they come into the season the preseason #1 and a trendy Final Four and National Champion pick. But we can’t get caught up in that right now.
