HOUSTON — It's a crowded race to join the Houston City Council. City of Houston voters can select between 14 listed candidates and one write-in candidate in the Tuesday election. The seat is currently held by Letitia Plummer, who is stepping down to run for Harris County Judge. This term ends in January 2028.
