The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a bye week for Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season. It comes at a much-needed time for the Bucs, who are 6-2 with Baker Mayfield at quarterback but are dealing with a slew of injuries.

The Buccaneers’ backfield remains more volume than venom. Rachaad White has handled most of the work: 77 carries for 287 yards and four touchdowns, but his 3.7 yards per attempt and 2.65 yards after contact show how often he’s fighting for every inch behind inconsistent blocking.

The Patriots and Buccaneers will remain in the early afternoon time slot and won't be flexed to a different time by the NFL.
