On the NBA side, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown made an appearance pregame during the Sun’s block party on Canal St. During the game, he sat courtside along with Celtics teammate Georges Niang and a pair of Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox players.

Last time the Connecticut Sun played in Boston, Stephanie White led them to victory. On Tuesday, she returns as coach of the Indiana Fever.

The Connecticut Sun make their long-awaited return to Boston on Tuesday with a marquee matchup against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at the TD Garden at 8 p.m. EDT.

"I think the market here itself is just going to be better for a women’s basketball program," said Sun guard Saniya Rivers.

What's clear is that Providence would face stiff competition from Boston, where the Connecticut Sun already have an established audience.
