Marshawn Kneeland, the Dallas Cowboys player who died Thursday at age 24, was remembered by the NFL just hours later, as the Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders played on Thursday Night Football.
Former coaches and associates, stunned by the news of the Cowboys DL’s death, spoke about their time with the 24-year-old Kneeland.
The FPD claims that Kneeland’s vehicle evaded local authorities at 10:39 p.m. on Wednesday night. Troopers found the vehicle crashed and desserted, and were warned that Kneeland “expressed suicidial ideations.” Tragically, Kneeland took his own life before anyone could reach and help him.
