The Storm Prediction Center has the western half of the U.P. under a slight risk for scattered severe storms. Storm hazards include damaging winds, large hail, heavy rainfall, and isolated tornadoes. Storms weaken by the time the sun sets.

Southeast Michigan faces the highest risk with downbursts capable of producing wind gusts up to 60 MPH and the potential for localized flooding from slow-moving storms.
