After the Astros broke out for an 18-1 win on Friday, Houston faces LA's Shohei Ohtani, making his fourth start of season.

Ohtani opened the day by allowing a single to Astros third baseman Isaac Parades, but that hit was erased by a double play ball off the bat of Cam Smith. Jose Altuve ground out to end the first inning. The second frame was much more dominant, as all three Astros batter struck out swinging on breaking balls from Ohtani.

Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani has the top-selling MLB jersey for the first half of 2025 season. Teammates Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman also in top four.

The Dodgers and Astros play a three-game series on a holiday weekend. Los Angeles crowds are not fond of Jose Altuve and his Houston crew.
