Former Purdue tight end Max Klare is among the Buckeyes who will prove a challenge for an improving Boilermakers secondary.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has the highest odds to earn Heisman Trophy honors at +185. Indiana passer Fernando Mendoza owns the second-highest odds at +240, while Alabama signal-caller Ty Simpson sits at No. 3 with +450 odds.
The Heisman race is far from decided, but Julian Sayin is the clear frontrunner entering the second week of November.
As we enter Week 11 of the college football season, the FanDuel Heisman odds leaderboard is beginning to show real contenders and flush out some of the pretenders. That happened this past weekend with a change in the top-five favorites to win the award for the nation’s best player.
Now that November has begun and 10 weeks of college football action are behind us, the Heisman Trophy race is starting to whittle down to a group of favorites.

As stated last week, Indiana has a smooth final month to the year. Indiana beat Maryland 55-10 and has its second back-to-back road games going to Penn State this weekend. Following Penn State, Indiana hosts Wisconsin, and ends at Purdue. Those three remaining teams are a combined 7-18.
It's not a surprise to see Sayin and Mendoza in the top two. Sayin has the cleanest quarterback résumé on the cleanest contender. The efficiency numbers are absurd, the bad snaps don't exist, and Ohio State's defense gives him a big margin for error, so he's able to operate with a level of calm that screams "finalist floor, winner ceiling."
