ARIZONA -- Kyler Murray will not start for the Arizona Cardinals against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Murray has missed the prior two games with a mid-foot sprain, and now Jacoby Brissett will be the starter, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon.

The main injuries of note here in this AFC Championship Game rematch is that the Chiefs will be without Isiah Pacheco, meaning more carries for Kareem Hunt and rookie Brashard Smith, and the Bills will be without Joshua Palmer, who's been solid as a third or fourth receiving option in Buffalo's offense.

Kyler Murray was limited in practice for the second consecutive day ahead of the Cardinals’ Week 9 game with the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.

If he were to suit up for the Nuggets on Friday night, Murray would likely be matched up against Portland's All-Defensive Team-caliber forward Toumani Camara, a one-on-one battle that would call for the Nuggets' 28-year-old guard to exert plenty of energy and use extra force in an effort to receive open looks.
