On February 7, 1921, Wilma Lee Leary was born in Valley Head, West Virginia. Along with husband Stoney Cooper, she became a Grand Ole Opry member, and they scored four Top 10 hits from 1958-1961. Wilma Lee Cooper passed away September 13, 2011 at age 90. The Cooper's daughter, Carol Lee, went on to form a vocal group, backing up almost all the Grand Ole Opry acts from 1972 to 2012. | GatorRock
