On November 26, 2025, LOT Polish Airlines flight LO771, an Embraer E170 (SP-LDK) arriving from Warsaw, landed in Vilnius at 13:43 local time and subsequently slid off the taxiway amid heavy snowfall. The aircraft, carrying 63 passengers and 4 crew, lost traction and veered onto the grass on the north side of the airport. Emergency services responded immediately, and all occupants were safely evacuated with no injuries. The incident forced the runway to be closed until 17:00 GMT! EASA statistics
