Longhorn Cavern (@longhorncavern) is a flow cave formed from an underground river flowing through and creating smooth corridors, carving out chambers in the limestone, and whirlpooling high to create domes in the ceiling. In the early 1930’s, @texasstateparks purchased the cavern, and 200 young Civilian Conservation Corps workers arrived at Longhorn Caverns to get to work for a dollar a day.
