Did you know that in the EU, minors cannot be targeted by online ads? 🚫 Under the Digital Services Act, targeted advertising is NOT allowed for minors. The evidence base is provided by a team of scientists from the European Centre for Algorithmic Transparency. They are helping the EU to better understand the world of algorithms and to regulate online activities. Our scientists are also studying the long-term impacts of algorithmic systems, to help the EU develop future-proof and safer policies.
